Message From Chairman

On the behalf of Public Health Research Society Nepal (PHRSN), I would like to welcome you to this unique corner of the web. On this page, you can read about ongoing and past activities, research, and program of the organization. Also, we aim to promote and sustaining quality public health practices through evidence generation in the health sector addressing cross-cutting issues related to health. We focus on developing and implementing innovative public health ideas through quality research for strengthening the health system in Nepal in close coordination with national and international partners to sustain public health research and practices.

We started our journey with a dream and determination to improve our evidence-based research generation on public health, hygiene, and sanitation, disaster management, education, gender mainstreaming, human rights, Livelihood support activities with enhancing people’s capabilities and widening their choices, child support program (education, health promotion, and basic child rights), and the gaps that exist in the health system considering inter-disciplines, multi-dimensions, multi-determinants and cross-cutting issues of health.

This cannot be achieved and improved without your feedback. I welcome everyone’s opinion and feedback regarding any content seen on this web. This is not possible without a firm team effort.

Thank you
